So I know most in the Kronum League/KroNation would like an update on the status of the playoff picture and what Round 10 means to which teams.
Let's start off by stating the determining factors of seeding and tiebreakers; 1. Record (duh) // 2. Head to Head // 3. Combination Point System (Points Scored, Points Against, Game Krons) // 4. Margin between Points Scored and Points Against.
Confusing? Hope not. Number 3 may get a little fuzzy for some of you. It means you are awarded a point for each of those categories and the team with the higher point total between those stats is awarded the tiebreaker.
The Nimble Jacks have clinched the 1st seed. They have earned a bye to the semi finals and will face the winner of the 4 vs 5 game, unless there is an upset in the 3 vs 6 game.
2nd seed is in sole possession of the Night Owls. The only scenario they would lose this is if they lose to the Urban Legends and the Jet Sets defeat the Nimble Jacks, in which case the Urban Legends would have to outscore the Jacks by 22 points OR Jet Sets outscore the Night Owls by 45 points. It's a long shot, but stranger things have happened in sports.
Currently, the Jet Sets hold the 3rd seed. If the Jet Sets win or Urban Legends lose, that will not change in terms of the 3rd seed. Meaning both teams could win/lose and nothing would change. Their head to head record is split, the Jet Sets are outscoring the Urban Legends by 139, and the Legends have ZERO Krons. Sets take the 3rd tiebreaker.
Urban Legends currently sit in 4th. In order to jump to the 3rd seed, they must defeat the Night Owls and the Jet Sets lose to the Nimble Jacks. Simple...finally.
Even more simplistic is that the Throwbacks are locked in at the 5th seed and Work Horses locked at 6th.
Round 10 Predictions:
Work Horses 98 // Throwbacks 93
Night Owls 134 // Urban Legends 117
Jet Sets 123 // Nimble Jacks 121
